one thing i love about newborns are the faces they make.

it amuses me every time without fail.

on another note, i can't believe my baby boy is a little over a week old already!

that's time for us... too fast!

for easter...

a week before easter, i had the little man help me prepare some eggs for his classmates at school.  

as we were expecting a full house, i had him working on 12 eggs a day for three days.

he was supposed to give them out to his friends for easter.

but alas, we had baby phoenix and couldn't make it to school anymore.

nontheless, it was a great project for a two year old.

he thoroughly enjoyed working on the eggs.

it kept him occupied for a good 30 minutes a day!

little boys

little boys are the sweetest things in this planet.

this morning, dylan woke up and i placed his baby brother right beside him in bed.

my little man proceeded to hug his brother gently, smiling sweetly and closing his eyes after.

i live for this type of day.

i still can't get over the fact that i now have TWO.

two boys to give lots of hugs and kisses to.

two boys to pamper and spoil.

two boys to chase around the park and play trains with.

two boys to completely cherish and love.

i thank God for giving them both to me.

come out, come out!

i have tried everything i could possibly think of to naturally induce labour

i have walked until my feet hurt

gotten tons of relaxing massage from the hubby

stuffed myself with pineapples

cleaned the entire house twice... short of stuffing myself in the oven

and ate enough spicy food to last me a lifetime

none has even caused one single silly contraction.
i am soooo ready to get this baby out.

any tips or tricks to get labour started?!?

... but times like these, no matter how sticky his lips are or how much glue is stuck between his fingers, makes a being a mom so worth it...

he's a sponge!

at 26 months, my little man can count to ten, sing his ABC's (up to P), recite words and certain phrases of some of his favourite books and sing lines to some of most-loved songs.

i can't believe how fast he's growing up on us!

Baby Shower

I am thankful to have such a wonderful set of friends

who go out of their way to throw me such a rockin' baby shower.

My little family had an amazing time celebrating the soon-to-be arrival

of our new bundle of joy.

36 weeks and counting!  Almost there....
